The Southeast District of the Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church encompasses 16 counties and includes 80 local congregations serving the needs of people and sharing the message of God’s love and grace made known in Jesus.

Our congregations are diverse in size, varied in character and scattered across many different locations and ministry settings. Yet, we share one common vision: to make fully-formed followers of Jesus and make a positive difference in our world. 

We invite you to be a part of our shared ministry, whether it’s joining us for worship, working alongside us as we serve people in our neighborhoods, or learning with us as we seek to deepen our relationship to God in community with each other.  

Methodists in Missouri

The United Methodist Church in Missouri is currently subdivided into nine districts.  The Southeast District covers the geographical region bounded by Perryville on the north, Fredericktown/Ironton area on the northwest, Van Buren/Ellington area on the west, and the Arkansas border on the southwest and southeast.
